We can't believe that Arjun is already 1!! And since we've only been here a month, we weren't sure what we were going to do to celebrate...obviously Arjun will not remember his 1st birthday but Rowen has been talking about it for a week now. In particular, he's been mentioning birthday cake and all of HIS presents that he is going to get!!
We had a relaxing day at home and got some naps in before we headed to base to see Tim. We had dinner at Chili's (I know-really exciting) with another family that we met during our orientation: The Owin's family: Mark (retired Navy), Karen (a new DoDDs teacher) and their twin daughters, Rachel and Rebecca (20 mos. old). We had a good time and the people at Chili's, of course, sang a good birthday song to Arjun, which Rowen loved!
